About Kalyna Marketing
Kalyna Marketing is a boutique marketing agency founded by Mariya Delano in 2021. We provide content-driven marketing help to B2B brands, with a focus on SaaS and technical subject matter. Our services range from organic marketing strategy to content creation & distribution. We believe that companies can achieve better marketing outcomes at lower spend if they look past “best practices” and focus on effectively communicating with their target audiences.

Why “Kalyna”? - The Origin of Our Name
Kalyna [ Kal-ee-na ] - a symbol of Ukrainian freedom, Kalyna is a shrub with green leaves and bright red berries, widely used in Ukrainian folk medicine, music, and art. Also known as “guelder-rose” and “Viburnum”. Since our founder, Mariya Delano, is Ukrainian, she chose this name as a reminder of her home country.

Mariya is the founder of Kalyna Marketing. Beyond her client work, she is a contributor to Search Engine Land and writes a newsletter titled Attention Deficit Marketing Disorder (ADMD). Mariya is originally from Zhytomyr, Ukraine and is currently based in New York City.

A born explorer, Jen loves diving into obscure subjects. A career in museum education led to copywriting and marketing. Now she’s ready for a new adventure and said “yes” to project management at Kalyna Marketing. As a lover of processes and systems, she’s excited to expand her skill set and help the Kalyna team stay on track and accomplish business results for their clients.
Originally from a tiny town in South Carolina, Jen’s called home places as diverse as New Orleans, Upstate New York, Philadelphia, and now Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
